REALTORS® Care About Their Community
The Spartanburg Association has been a big advocate for the Spartanburg Soup Kitchen for many years. 2020 was no different:
- REALTORS® volunteered the second Friday of each month to help out at the Spartanburg Soup Kitchen.
- REALTORS® responded to a call for action for the homeless when a tornado hit Spartanburg taking its toll on the homeless.
- REALTORS® hosted its annual charity golf tournament, donating half of the proceeds to the Soup Kitchen.
- REALTORS® partnered with the Soup Kitchen and sponsored 125 children for Christmas.
During 2020, the Association and Multiple Listing Service raised and donated $33,500.00 to the following local charities:
- Hope Center for Children – Transitional Living
- Spartanburg Soup Kitchen
- Spartanburg Co. Sheriff’s Dept. Chaplain’s Benevolence Fund
- Spartanburg Humane Society
- Spartanburg Interfaith Hospitality Network.
- Spartanburg Opportunity Center
